About Dr. Ettinger
Dr. David Ettinger was born and raised in the Northeast. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He was one of 40 New York State students chosen to attend the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed medical school in 1981 and returned to Buffalo for his residency, which consisted of three years general surgery and two years of plastic surgery. During his last year of Plastic Surgery residency, he was honored by being selected as Chief Resident.
Practice and Affiliations
Dr. Ettinger provides over 30 years of experience performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Dr. Ettinger completed his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1986 at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then received certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1990. As a board certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon, he has been an active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation. Prior to establishing his Plastic and Reconstructive surgical practice in Greene County, Ohio Dr. Ettinger served as the director of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency program at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Ettinger is a past president of the Greene County Medical Society. Dr. Ettinger is affiliated with the Kettering Physician Network and Greater Dayton Surgery Center.
